Education First Series

In the new normal ushered by Covid 19 and its attendant challenges the world reacted by becoming digitally connected to battle financial, economic , leadership , mental and emotional back lash as a survival strategy to further the economies and families as well as careers of many struggling entities and nations.

The questions on many lips all over the world are : are we out of the woods? are we better off ?  are we totally compliant with the digital realities of the future economies? are women becoming more compliant , repositioned and better equipped to deal with these monumental challenges of the new normal. Digital financial literacy is incredibly required to make more women find their place in their nations , economies and careers.

The WINB AFRICA response; is the Education First series which brings women and women organizations together, to collaborate and interact in an atmosphere of valued information transfer called the Education First Series Seminars/Workshops

Project Sapphire

Project Sapphire — is a WINB AFRICA initiative designed to equip youths and young women with skills to generate income and make wealth. They are taught to make all kinds of organic products for local consumption and export purposes.

Orphanage Challenge

Orphanage challenge-  is a WINB AFRICA social responsibility initiative. On a monthly basis, WINB AFRICA; with the help and support of its partners; provides food, clothing, school and medical supplies to orphanages around the country.

Project Back To School

Though all children have the right to education; in sub-Saharan Africa, 30 million children don’t attend primary school – ( United Nations Children’s Fund UNICEF ) 2017. Out of this staggering number, Nigeria accounts for 10.5 million out of school children.

Project Back to School is a project of the African Women Foundation for Nation Building (WINB Africa); with a mandate to transform the African society by empowering poor, disadvantaged children to discover their innate potential via educational scholarships and support.

Our core target areas are city suburbs, rural slums, orphanages and displaced peoples camps.

WINB Monthly Round Table

As we advance into the future in the new normal and nations, peoples and organizations grapple with the fallout of the Covid -19 Challenge; it is imperative that these nations, social entrepreneurs and business persons collaborate to open new vistas of cooperation, access, growth and development.

At THE AFRICAN WOMEN FOUNDATION FOR NATION BUILDING we have a mandate to transform the African society by supporting women to play significant roles in nation building as well as creating avenues for identifying, raising and supporting women leaders to come together to brainstorm on issues affecting their well-being and generating practical and achievable solutions.

We at WINB AFRICA are committed to growth, legacies and development and we believe; that collaboration is the key to unlocking the opportunities of the new normal and beyond.

In this regard, we are responding with the African Women Foundation for Nation Building (WINB AFRICA) Roundtable which brings experts, collaborators and entrepreneurs across sectors of the Nigerian, African and world economies to bring up strategies for economic, social and sectional advancements in the future of the new normal. the first WINB AFRICA roudtable is billed for july 8th, 2021; 2.00pm- Nigeria, UK; 3pm- South Africa and 4pm- Ethiopia with the Theme: Thriving in the new normal-Engaging Social Entrepreneurs to promote and proffer new of funding- lessons from Africa, Europe and the United Kingdom.
